The coffee helps, but I thought I may as well also join the ladies at Suscipio for {CWA} as well.
Gratitude::
- Healthy children, healthy family
-A small handful of friends who encourage and inspire me
Listening To::
-The two year old singing and contentedly playing by herself.
Pondering::
-Pope Benedict and what he must feel like in these last days as Pope. Is he by himself praying quietly? Is he hoping that we are all praying for him? I wish I could give him a big hug and tell him 'thank you'.
Creating::
-Menu plans. One of my favorite things, but it takes time since I plan for a couple weeks worth of suppers.
Praying::
-For Patience
Words on my Heart::
'To run the race of Catholic motherhood, we need to strengthen ourselves emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Part of this means building our stamina through fitness, exercise, good nutrition, and proper sleep.' (A Book of Saints for Catholic Moms, page 41)

Great quote from A Book of Saints for Catholic Moms. And your girls are just precious!
ReplyDeleteSmall handfuls of friends are the best! Thank you for the linky love, and when are you shipping over your girls????
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to start the week!
ReplyDeleteSweet little girlies! Thanks for the link to the blogging post. I jumped over and read it. She had some very good points.
ReplyDeleteI too keep thinking about our Holy Father. Is he walking through the Vatican like we do when we're about move out of our home or especially like I do when I visit my grandparents home? I try to remember each detail, each smell, the view from each window. We have been praying for him and the Cardinals as they prepare to elect our new Pope.
Nice words and thoughts on a Monday morning, Sarah. And those girls...sooo sweet! : )
ReplyDeleteI don't know a single Catholic (moms especially) who aren't praying for our Holy Father Benedict and his successor.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Blessings,
Emily
Love the quote too.
ReplyDeleteWe plan meals for 2 weeks at a time too...takes some time. This past weekend, Tom helped and we found some new ones. Last week tried 3 new ones, they were all good! Pinterest has some great ideas!
Those are two very sweet beautiful little girls!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to stop thinking of the Holy Father.
So many prayers going up for him this week. Blessings +
I am so right with all of you on your thoughts about and prayers for Pope Benedict XVI.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder about a mom's health!
And I love your header photo and what you captured of your two little ones. What were they looking at?
Have a good week!
Ah, good friends. What would we do without them?
ReplyDeleteI am interested in your book selections. Thank you for mentioning them.
And thank you for the reminder to pray for the Holy Father.
