Baptism & First Birthday Teaser

I realize that today is the beginning of the Lenten season and I should post something a bit more meaningful. BUT, I have so many photos I'd like to post but so very little time to even sit down to write. I hope to be back to post more and to share with you Greta's Baptism and Gianna's First Birthday bash from this past Sunday in more detail, one day.

I must say that Greta's Baptism was my all time favorite of all of my kids' and we were blessed by not one, but two priests to celebrate this sacrament. We celebrated Gianna's birthday as well and it was a grand old time!! I cannot wait to share more with you.

Thankful Thursday: Baby Edition

Thankful for a sweet baby girl you just couldn't imagine life without.

Thankful for tiny baby toes that belong to a very tiny blessing.

Thankful for a husband who has a secure job that allows him time to stay home and care for his growing family.



Thankful for deep blue eyes filled with watchful wonder at all the newness that surrounds her.

Thankful for Big Brother who is very smitten with his new little sister, even if she wasn't the brother he was hoping for.

Thankful for a wonderful, Catholic doctor who takes very good care of mom and baby.

Thankful for another chance to dress a baby in pink and cute little headbands.

Taking a moment out of a busy Thursday to be especially thankful for so many precious blessings.

Greta and I came home yesterday late afternoon and we are all settling in here. We are doing well and couldn't be happier (or more surprised!!) with our healthy little baby girl. I'll post more details and hopefully better photos another day.

Just had to stop in to update in case you were all wondering and waiting.
