Father's Day Perspectives

Contemplative Boy:

On Father's Day, daddy is suppose to do everything mommy tells him to do. Whatever mommy wants him to work on, he has to because mommy told him to.

Disgruntled Girl:

How come there's Mother's Day and Father's Day and never a Kid's Day? How come we NEVER get a day? What a rip-off.

*********

Despite all of the above, we still had a good Father's Day (even daddy agrees).
After all, daddy did take us all to this movie (more on that another day):

  1. My kids want the same thing, I tell them that every day is kids day, as we always do fun things!

They are always fed and waited on, I do their laundry and cooking and well, you get the idea, right?

  2. Love, love, love the Kid's Day comment. And I love Jamie's response:)

I'd love to hear your opinion on the movie, Up. I haven't heard much about it, but it looks like a good one.

  3. Sarah...there actually is a kids day in Benson. We grew up with it and it was a lot of fun. You go to each store and they give candy. they have a parade. They even have kid day royalty.
